Random number of things about me.

I am very sensative.

I wear my feelings on my sleeve.

"Sunshine Boys" and "Auntie Mame" are my favorite movies.

Burns and Allen, Dane Cook, Steven Wright, Mitch Hedburg, Jon Stewart and David Letterman make me laugh.

I was abused as a child.

I have a pretty dang awesome imagination.

I genuinely care about people.

The worst thing I've ever done is that I once lied about a suicide attempt and was hospitalized.

I am smart but quiet and therefore am often perceived as average.

I love animals, especially my cat.

One of my biggest fears is that I will be misunderstood, devalued and overlooked.

I have a big ego about my work and no ego about anything else.

I love working on shoulders, necks and scapulae. I like working on backs, elbows, ankles and hands. I don't really love working on knees and hips, but I do it.

I have an anxiety disorder and I still don't answer the door or the telephone.

I used to go to the store and have to run out because of panic, but that hasn't happened in over a year:)

I secretly wish I were a writer.

I often come across as pretentious and condescending because I am so afraid that people will missunderstand me that I over-explain everything I say.

I have a dark side that includes anger and fear.

My favorite color is blue.

I love my cat.

If I weren't so busy being neurotic, I think I'd be a hypochondriac.

I can rollerskate and iceskate, but only forwards.

I drive a stick-shift.

I recently was re-introduced to my father. Last time I saw him was 20 years ago.

I once had a friend in a chatroom who actually came and visited me. It was awkward.

I used to host a safe women's chatroom.

I've gotten one traffic ticket (failure to yeild the right of way), and have been in 3 accidents. I haven't gotten pulled over because I drive like a granma.

I am writing this list because I got my first review back and got less than 100 and am trying not to have a nervous breakdown about the fact that I didn't get a 100.

I am writing this list so that I sound more like a real person.

I think I need to work on being comfortable with me, even if people don't really understand me.

Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is the best.

Sometimes, my self-loathing and neurotic ways gets on my last damn nerve.

People say that I'm pretty funny online. My offline friends would be pretty surprised by that.

I love Eminem. I know. I can't believe it either.

I often find myself in chatroom debates and even though I think I make good, non-emotional points, I usually get told to *%^! off.

I think I base my self-esteem way to heavily on the perceptions of other people.

I have been on more diets than there are types of pie.

Tolerance is one of the most important values anyone can have.

Ignorance is dangerous. Ignorance + hatred is deadly.

Fanaticism is a type of voluntary-ignorance.

Amy Grant's lyrics have often soothed my sould when nothing else could.

I'm in therapy and it's the best decision I have ever made. I'm so much better.

I'm also taking medicine. Other than the fact that I've gained 40 pounds, it is wonderful. *grin*

I live in a messy apartment.

I drive a super cool car that I bought with my own money. Brand new. When I wrote out the down payment check, I thought I was going to pass out.

I want to get a house sooner rather than later.

I want to be understood (if I haven't already mentioned that).

I don't like Jay Leno. Rent or read "The Late Shift" sometime to get the full story on Mr. Nice Guy.

"When Harry Met Sally" gets funnier each time I watch it.

Poetry is a vent and a spark for me.

I can't draw or paint or play music, but I would like to.

I secretly long to be in the spotlight and be an entertainer.

Between December 10 and January 9, I spent 192 hours online.

Not coincidentally, my therapist has given me a book entitled, "Caught in the Web". ROFL.

I used to spend hours listening to and watching old Burns and Allen shows, pretending I was Gracie.

Overstock.com is a good place to get deals and I like going there.

I am pretty good with figuring out mechanical/computer problems, but if I had been Tom Hanks in "CastAway", I'd still be on that island eating cold termites and talking to Wilson.

My neck bothers me a lot.

I got to go see the Smother's Brothers and it was one of the coolest times in my life!

Roller Coaster Tycoon and The Sims are very fun and addictive games. Note the word 'addictive'.

I like John Grisham and Patricia Cornwell. I have read one book by Tammy Hoag and I enjoyed it. Harry Potter is a great series.

I despise loud ignorant people.

I greatly despise loud, ignorant people who are quick to assume that I am dumb because I am quiet.

I feel guilty about despising people.

If Jon Stewart wasn't married, I'd be on a plane to NYC this instant.

Mel Gibson's eyes still do me in.

I've been on one date in my entire life. I'm not gay, though my mother secretly thinks that I am.

Driving down the interstate with the Dixie Chicks blasting is a good time.

I like every single kind of music that there is. I don't like every song in every genre, but I truly haven't found a genre that I can't enjoy.

I just want everyone to love me. Is that so wrong?

I think I'm at the end of my list.

:)
